Seeing Beyond the Surface
August 9th, 10am-12pm
Discovering the Living Web Within and Without
Registration is required. NatureSoul walks are intentionally kept small to support reflection, meaningful conversation, and a deeper connection with nature.
At first glance, nature can seem quiet. A peaceful lake, a shaded forest, a simple trail.
But beneath the surface lies another world. There are roots connecting trees, life beneath the water, insects hidden beneath leaves, fungi quietly recycling the forest, and countless relationships unfolding beyond what we normally notice.
Perhaps the same is true of us.
This month's NatureSoul Experience is an invitation to slow down, observe more deeply, and discover what reveals itself when we look beyond first impressions.
Join us as we explore Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve and practice seeing with fresh eyes. Both in the natural world and within ourselves.
The walk is approximately one mile on mostly easy trails and boardwalks with several opportunities to pause for reflection.
I look forward to walking with you.
All are welcome.
These experiences are offered freely. Donations are appreciated and help support the ongoing stewardship, restoration, and development of NatureSoul in Gladwin, Michigan.
Space is limited to help preserve the intimate nature of the experience.
