Spring Wildflowers & Vernal Pools is a gentle, reflective nature walk that invites us to                             witness one of the forest's most beautiful seasonal moments.

In early spring, before the trees leaf out, sunlight reaches the forest floor and delicate wildflowers begin to emerge; trillium, trout lilies, spring beauty, and other woodland treasures. At the same time, vernal pools appear as rain and snowmelt gather in quiet low places, supporting the early life cycles of frogs, salamanders, and other small creatures.

                    This brief season reflects themes of emergence, fragility, and ephemeral beauty;                           life that appears quietly and lasts only a short time before the forest canopy closes above.

                            Participants are invited to move at their own pace, allowing space for                                      quiet observation, stillness, and reflection.

No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.

Participant Waiver and Release of Liability

By registering for and participating in the "Awakening the Woods" event at Stage Nature Center (Troy, Michigan), I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. I understand that participation in activities such as guided regressions, drumming, meditation, and outdoor gatherings involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, exposure to outdoor conditions, and emotional release.
2. I voluntarily assume all risks related to my participation in this event.
3. I release and hold harmless NatureSoul Retreat Center, its owners, directors, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage to person or property arising out of my participation.
4. I certify that I am physically and emotionally able to participate in these activities and that I will take responsibility for my own health and safety during the event.
5. I understand that this waiver applies to me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
